The streets of Craftsmanship and Shopping.
Umbria: not just shopping but also typical Arts and Crafts.

Handicraft

Umbria is the land of origin of great artisan excellences: ceramics, fabrics, wrought iron are the main materials from which the artistic productions based on the medieval Arts and Crafts have developed. Alongside the production of objects of use, Umbrian master craftsmen have developed a know-how closely linked to the territory, of which some towns are a direct testimony, such as Deruta, the city of artistic majolica known all over the world. The visit to Umbria can be an opportunity to see closely the workshops of master craftsmen, some of which became actual museums that testify the history of Umbrian manufacturing. The artisan workshops are mainly active in the historical centres of cities such as Perugia, Gubbio, and Orvieto, and a sightseeing tour can become the excuse to bring home a piece of Umbria in the form of a small art object.

Shopping

The holiday farm is located a short distance from several towns, and the nearby motorway makes it easy to reach the different parts of Umbria and Tuscany. Perugia, Castiglione del Lago, Assisi, Gubbio and other Umbrian cities can be visited on a day trip, but even Siena and Cortona can be easily reached by car in an hour at most. The holiday farm is also just a few minutes’ drive from shopping centres, often open even on public holidays.
